Donald J, Trump is a disruptor in chief. He and civil servants following his lead swept through govermental agencies like a hurricane. What a contrast to the previous president, sleeping on the job he was elected to do in 2020. It's only two weeks of Trump 2.0, but it feels like he has done more than Joe Biden in a year. Yet we all remember how the Democrats attempted to paint Trump as too old for the job, when they substituted Kamala Harris for Joe Biden as their presidential candidate, after Biden's disastrous debate against Trump in 2024.
By issuing various executive orders in first two weaks, president Trump already caused decreasing of the traffick of illegal immigrants entering the country and forced Mexico. through the threat of applying 25% tariffs on their goods exported to the U.S., to send 10,000 of Mexican soldiers to protect the U.S/Mexico border. He also forced Canada to take care of their border with the U.S. under the threat of applying the same tariffs on their goods as to Mexico, stopped the U.S.A.I.D. from wasting money on various woke and other programs all over the world, started the clean up of D.O.J and F.B.I. of agents engaged in carrying out the unconstitutional policies and being responsible for carrying out the weaponizing of those departments against U.S. citizens by the previous presidency. Much more is coming, particularly in the area of making the goverment smaller yet more efficient and making savings in spending of the txpayers money. Even though Democrats are doing their best to slow down president Trump, by causing delays in the approval of the cabinet appointees by the U.S. Senate. it seems the so called deep state is an endangered specie under the Trump administration.
Last Sunday on CBS's Face the Nation, republican congressman Brian Mast, who happens to be the Chairman of House Foreign Affiars Committee, in answer to Margaret Brennan's questioning the rationale for scrutiny of the USAID, gave to her examples of the misuse of the US taxpayers funds by the USAID: $500,000 for expansion of atheism in the country of Nepal; $50.000 to assist with transgender operations in the country of Colombia; $47,000 to do LGBTQ transgender comic book in the country of Peru; $20,000 for drag show in the country of Ecuador. Is this really the way to carry out the international developpment of the 3rd wold countries? Are these the democratic values and ideas that the United States wants to be known for spreading throughout the world? Democrats, get some common sense...
So, 'it's kind of cool to have a president again', as summed up by senator John Kennedy of Louisiana in one oh his tv interviews yesterday.
